AIM4NH Code of Conduct:

Welcome to A.I.M (Academics, Integrity, Marksmanship) New Hampshire chapter.
As a member of this community, new or returning there is a code of conduct and specific level of commitment expected of you both on and off the trap field/range.
-
First and foremost: SAFETY, Firearms safe handling is to be practiced at all times. A packet should have been handed out to you at your first annual meeting. All Shooters, volunteers and parent/guardians should familiarize themselves with the fundamental rules for gun safety. This can also be found at https://gunsafetyrules.nra.org/ . Safety does not start and end at the range. Attention to ethical handling of firearms specific to the game of Trap will be covered by the coaching staff during practice(s).
-
Know that you are now a representative of this team both on and off the range field. Your actions and general demeanor need to reflect your respect for A.I.M., coaching staff and your fellow teammates. It is expected that all A.I.M. member actions are conducted in a manner which would reflect positivity and respect on the organization, team, clubs and community.
-
Academics, as the first letter of the acronym A.I.M. would imply, is of the utmost importance. As with any intramural activity, education comes first. Coaches and parents expect a high level of commitment to your fundamental education/studies. There are many cases within the game of trap where basic and advanced mathematics will come into play as well.
I ____________________________________________ acknowledge the code of conduct written herein and pledge my commitment to myself and AIM4NH. Furthermore, I promise to hold myself and actions to the code of conduct as a member and ambassador of AIM4NH and the shooting community.
In the event, disciplinary action is necessary: a meeting with coaching staff, parent and athlete will take place in a timely manner. Reprimand or corrective action in response to the misconduct will be:
-
Verbal warning & Community service
-
Written warning & Community service
-
Removal from the team ~ no refund of team dues will be given.
